Hello, my name is Leonor Fini. I was an Italian painter, designer, illustrator, and author, known for my depictions of powerful women. I had no formal artistic training, yet I was familiar with the traditional Renaissance and Mannerist styles encountered during my upbringing in Italy. When I was 17, I had a painting exhibited in a gallery and received a commission to paint portraits from dignitaries in Milan, where I had my first one-woman show at the Galerie Barbaroux. Even, till now I take more orders that are mainly portraits of nobles. And so I make money with this work. Many nobles want to take their portrait in spite of its high price. It is the best job for me. It gives me more inspiration to create more and more work of art.
I am a creative person especially in front of my drawing board. As you see all of my instruments here. And they inspire me to make more paintings. Furthermore, at the moment, I am creating entirely new composite based on image of tired woman. I am sure, this composite will take me to higher ranks.
