Hi Dear Sir or Madam,
First of all thank you for your suggestion. A surprise birthday party for Chris is a great idea. Chris will be happy that because he really likes unexpected gifts. For example, he was happy when our friends and I gave Chris a phone as surprise for his birthday last year. I think the party which you organized will be a great gift for Chris.
Unfortunately, I’m afraid I won’t go to the party because my present study doesn’t permit it. I won’t attend the party due to the long distance from my studies in London and also final exams at the moment. Anyway I’ll call Chris an the birthday.
My study will end after two months. Then, I will go home and give him the gift which I prepared.
