History of being mature
Giving recommendation for yourself is so difficult to do. Let me introduce my characters, first. In terms of personality, I am a sociable person: I love to be with people from different cultures and nationalities; exchanging ideas with them; and of course, trying new ways of how others make themselves happy! What's more, I am good at making decisions, often my students or friends ask advice from me, maybe it is because of being the oldest child in family. Frankly, it is not easy to be so, as an older child, I have a responsibility for everything at home, even for the things that my younger sister does!
I can say I am good at working with team. Just after finishing high school, I started working as an IELS instructor in the language center I studied. Working as a teacher requires a lot of things, from being a good tutor, to managing and controlling students who are younger and even older than you. Despite how difficult it is, I am still working there, I love my colleagues, I love having lunches with them and singing together, we all share the same characters.
Also, I have got a good sense of humor, with my silly jokes, I make everyone laugh. It is because I love sharing happiness, people around me always state that I am an optimistic person. In my opinion, only with a bright look to the future, we can live happily. Of course, there are some obstacles, but when a person is sad or depressed, how he or she can make good decision then!?
Until I got my IELTS certificate, 10th of April 2021, I had no idea of studying abroad. Since I was just 17, my parents didn't allow me to continue studying in overseas. Moreover, I had not any idea about how to go there, how to find a place to live in and make new friends. In short. I was not as mature as me now. That's the reason why I applied for a private university - Kokand University, because of the relationships between South Korea and our host university, I was sure that after freshman year, I could apply for one of the international universities. To have an appropriate knowledge about Korea, their traditions, methods of teaching, I participated in some of the global competitions, such as 6t GIF, IBPC 2021 and 2022 and so on. Even it is not official, I have to mention that I love watching Korean movies with mum, and football matches with my dad.
And now I am finally, writing my personal essay to apply for my dream university. South Korea, please wait for me, Farangiz is going to you soon…
