My favorite website
There are tons of websites on the Internet nowadays, which offer a wide range of possibilities. As an advanced user I check out dozens of sites every day. For example, if I want to listen to music, I open online radio sites. When I want to watch a film or a cartoon, I open online cinema sites. When I want to chat with friends, I use instant messengers or social networks. Sometime I use skype to video call my distant pals or relatives.
However, my favourite website is YouTube, because I can watch or download any types of video there. I can also share my favourite videos with the rest of the world. Everybody knows that it is the most popular video site in the world. I like it for three reasons. Firstly, I can listen to the music that I like on this site and watch the video clips of the new songs. Secondly, I can find almost every new movie or cartoon there. Thirdly, on YouTube I see the latest news that happened around the world.
In fact, in my free time I play in a music band, which was set by my friends. I play the drums, while my friends play the double bass and the guitar. People, who saw and heard our performance, say that we play good rock music. I often download the videos of our performance to YouTube and we get lots of positive feedback. In my opinion, this site has many advantages. One of them is that I can find the videos on any given topic: about pets, about sports, about cars, etc. The only disadvantage is the limit set on the length of videos. According to YouTube rules, the videos must be no longer than fifteen minutes.

The university I study at
The first semester at university for a new student can be an important, monumental and vital step in his life because this is the platform which can make his amazing life. It is the first time ever that the student had been away from his home, his family, relatives and friends. Many students got scared to live away. Some of the students are worried due to transaction from school to college, then to university level while many students did not know the importance of this platform. With the start of the first week of classes, many students got worried after watching and observing the atmosphere. Some students did not take it seriously and as a result, they passed their university life with a grade that was not expected from him. In high school, though the student faced many complications, many difficulties, but that life did not affect too much. There are many academic challenges which students have to face in their first semester. Most of the students understood quickly about the university life and they know that the university life is much more difficult than high school and college life, but they did not realize the actual difficulties. University life requires full-time attention of the students. The students should look at the syllabi every time, remain confident, look at the different types of assignments
Computer in my life.
Nowadays computers have become an extremely important part of our life. They are used by children and old people, both for fun, for studying and for work. As for me, personal computer is a great invention. However, as every invention it also has both drawbacks and advantages.
Firstly, computers make our life easier. In every modern office there are computers to help people work faster. Students and schoolchildren use computers for studying. For example, the can find information for reviews or essays in the Internet. Secondly, computer is a tool for fun and communication. With the help of the Internet people from different corners of the world can communicate easily, developing international relationships. When we are bored, we can play online games with others or watch a movie using our PC.
On the other hand, spending much time working on a computer, we can damage our health. It also prevents us from walking and enjoying our hobbies. Perhaps, computers sometimes make our life too easy. Solving all the problems, they leave nothing for us to do.
Personally I cannot imagine my life without computers. They are completely necessary in the today’s developing world.
To make a conclusion, I would like to say that computers are great. Our life would be dull and boring without them. However, we should limit the amount of time we spend using them to avoid troubles.
