Central asia

"a cooling rationality".
A number of fundamental and deep factors that determine
the commonality of our cultures and our civilization: a) a single
cosmos of the peoples of Central Asia - take our myths, our epics
and legends; b) Navruz; c) the cult of fire; d) cult of the breeding
ground; e) the cult of ancestors; f) a common history.
In July, 751, not far from Taras, the combined forces of the
Arabs and the Central Asian Turks - the Karluks and the Turgash
- inflicted a crushing defeat on the army of Tang China.
Subsequently, it was these two ethnic groups - Karluks and
Turgashes - who played a major role in shaping the title ethnic
groups of Central Asia. According to Academician Bartold, this
victory
has
cultural-historical
and
cultural-civilizational
significance for the region. It secured the development of Muslim
culture in Central Asia. As a result of the tranmission, Islam also
became a centrifugal force for spreading its humanistic ideas in
the region, as well as in the steppe zone among nomadic Turkic
tribes.

The traditions of state secularism, the correlation of
authority and Islam, Sufism and authority, tolerance and
intolerance in societies are of particular interest from the point of
view of a possible understanding of why we are so secular and
tolerant today, why we managed to preserve peace in a multi-
confessional and multi-ethnic space, why "not fell into the utopia
of the neo-Caliphate, why Uzbekistan could firmly resist
extremism and terrorism, did not and will not become part of the
Afghan "break line". The creative potential and traditions of
original culture accumulated in antiquity and early Middle Ages,
create prerequisites for the "Central Asian Renaissance" in the
new historical conditions. It is not surprising that the Central
Asian region stands out within the framework of a single Islamic
civilization. This is the spiritual heritage of the outstanding
figures and thinkers of Central Asia - Al-Farabi, Ahmad Yassavi,
Alisher Navoi, Abdurrahman Jami, Makhtumkuli, Abai, and so
forth.
Despite the political boundaries, the peoples of the region
live in the same cultural and civilizational space, have common
traditions, culture, religion and history. Naturally, it is impossible
to divide the heritage of the region. This property belongs to the
entire population of our common space. Comprehending this
leads us to new ideas for regional integration, in order to broaden
our understanding of its possibilities.
