The charts presented provide data on education levels of Glasgow citizens with a 
breakdown by gender and age in 2010. 
Overall, whereas the vast majority of citizens aged 16-50 had a university qualification, this 
figure dropped substantially as people became older, however, the trend between males and 
females showed practically no difference.
The median education rate of people aged 16-50 was reported to be quite similar, with 
approximately two-thirds having a university diploma and 15-20% being school graduates. 
Meanwhile, only a negligible proportion of 9% in this age category had no qualifications.
However, an increasing proportion of people nearing the retirement age had no qualifications 
being a third of the people in the 50-75 age category and two thirds in the oldest group. 
Considering qualifications amongst the genders residing in Glasgow, in contrast to the age 
profile the distribution across the three educational levels was almost equally distributed.

The charts presented provide data on the value of American fish imports over a 13-year period 
from 1988 to 2000 with a breakdown by country of origin. 
Overall, the Canadian market which dominated the import of fish declined rapidly over the 
three years reported. In contrast, the Chinese market increased substantially in the first 5 years 
before dropping marginally. Other countries, which exported to the US increased their share 
steadily. Another noticeable trend is that the US fish market almost doubled through the given 
time span. 
As shown in the table, the total amount of fish imported to the American market steadily 
increased throughout the whole period from 6.57 billion dollars in 1988 to 10.72 billion at the 
end of the period. 
Considering exporting countries, having taken the lead at the beginning with more than a half 
of the total import, Canada gave way to China, which imported 46% in 1992. Meanwhile, similar 
market shares were retained by these countries in 2000, other countries increased their market 
presence to a third compared to only negligible 13% in 1988.
