Healthy eating habits
[Noun] (eating healthy food at regular times of the day). We have good food and stay healthy eating habits. Many people realize that healthy eating habits can help support a healthy weight. A vegetarian diet [Noun] (a diet focuses on plants for food without any meat, poultry, or seafood). Since a vegetarian diet is believed to be better for heath, many people, nowadays, tend to choose to become vegetarians. A vegetarian diet has been found to reduce the risk of heart disease, obesity, and some types of cancer. Plant foods [Noun] (a number of types of food derived from plants, including vegetables, whole grains, nuts, seeds, etc). Seaweed is one of the rare plant foods that contains DHA with many health benefits. Protein is found in a wide variety of both animal and plant foods. Organic plant foods are manufactured without using conventional fertilizers and pesticides. To be high in fiber [Expression] (nondigestible part of food that helps to keep a person healthy by moving other food quickly through the body). My mom tends to choose foods that are high in fiber and low in calories. All grains are high in fiber, but not all of them are packed with nutrition. Inadequate [Adjective] (not enough in quantity or not good enough in quality). His clothing was inadequate for the harsh weather conditions. The water supply is inadequate to provide water for all the people in the city. Our school facilities are inadequate for foreign students. Tasty [Adjective] (having a very pleasant and delicious flavor). The restaurant serves a lot of tasty food for customers. These apples are tasty to eat. Fattening [Adjective] (likely to make you fat easily). Unfortunately, potato chips are fattening. These cakes are very fattening - do not eat too many! Food hygiene [Noun] (the clean and safety of food from production to consumption). Consumers shall have the right to be informed of food hygiene and safety, to select and use proper food; If you want to teach your children about food hygiene, start with the basics – talk to them about bacteria and germs. Appetizing [Adjective] (smelling or looking attractive, appealing to or stimulating your taste, so that you feel hungry or thirsty). The meal the children made didn't look very appetizing, but it tasted pretty good. The roast beef is very appetizing. Ripe [Adjective] ((of fruit or crops) to be fully grown and ready to eat). The rice is ripe for harvest. My kids actually like the taste of ripe cherries. Make sure the plums are fully ripe before you eat them.
