If I were asked to choose between a high-paying job with long hours and 
a low-paying job with shorter hours, it would be difficult to answer. I 
think these options are very different and it takes time to make the right 
choice. Working day and night help us earn money, but it leaves us with 
no leisure time to spend with family and friends. Each person can choose 
one of the high-paying jobs with long working hours and lower- paying 
jobs with short working hours in each part of his/her life. For this 
decision, each person has some reasons. It depends on a person’s 
requirements, personal experience, personality type and goals in life. 
On the one side, money can help dreams come true. For example, a man 
wants to get married, but before his marriage, he needs some money. He 
needs private house, car and business. Especially, everyone wants to 
have a kind comfortable life. A high-paying job with long hours gives 
one more opportunity to make a great career and succeed. So he chooses 
a high-paying job and prefers to spend little time for himself or his 
family because he needs to save some money at this time for his life and 
his future. After some time, he may change his idea or his job because of 
some reasons that he has like being with children, family and any other 
reasons. 
On the other side, a low-paying job with shorter hours can bring many 
benefits. You can spend more time with your family and have many 
pleasant and beautiful moments together. I can go on holiday when I 
want. Moreover, I can take better care of myself too by doing exercises 
and other extra activities. For example, if I am giving time to my kids, 
they will value me more and maybe this will make them more aware of 
what real happiness means. What is the point of earning money, if I 
cannot enjoy any free time with my family? Additionally, it will only 
distance me from my people. Also, a job will be less stressful and not 
require sacrificing one's spare time to get it done. Nowadays, children 
have become distant from their parents because of their busy schedules. 
To sum up, I think that every person at least one time in his life realizes 
this and makes a decision whether he or she wants a career or a great 
family. And I have not made this decision yet.
