Working with guys like this, you can see why they are so great. And for me to watch and work with

them…I got a master class in how they do what they do.” – Josh Duhamel

In the suspense thriller Misconduct, IMTA alum Josh Duhamel stars as an ambitious young lawyer who

takes on a big case against a powerful and ruthless executive of a large

pharmaceutical company. He soon finds himself involved in a case of blackmail and

corruption, framed for a crime he did not commit and a fugitive on the run. Veteran

actors Al Pacino and Anthony Hopkins also star, alongside Malin Ackerman, Alice

Eve and Julia Stiles.

Duhamel has worked practically non-stop since competing at IMTA.  Starting as a

model (he was the NY97 Male Model of the Year), he then appeared  on daytime

drama in “All My Children,” starred  in primetime television  on “Las Vegas” and

Battle Creek,” and become a feature film star with Win a Date with Tad Hamilton!

and the Transformers series.

Asked about his career and how he felt about starring in a feature film with acting legends Pacino and

Hopkins, Duhamel expressed his gratitude for the experiences he has had. “It’s taken me a while to get

here and I’m glad it has. I feel like there’s still a lot to do.” He added, “This

movie was a real opportunity for me to work with two guys I’ve always

really loved, and I’m really happy with the movie.”

Duhamel said making Misconduct was a great learning opportunity. “I really

just wanted to carry my weight and try to tell the truth as much as I could

with [my character] and what he was going through. At the end of the day…it was about telling the

truth, and making the best film we could. And that was really what my job was in this movie.”

Duhamel also stars in Hulu’s limited event series 11.22.63 that is based on Stephen King’s best-selling

novel. The thriller follows high school history teacher Jake Epping (played

by James Franco) as he travels back in time to prevent the assassination of

President John F. Kennedy. Duhamel plays against type as Frank Dunning,

the father of one of Jake's students,  in 1960s Kentucky. The Hollywood

Reporter  described  Duhamel’s character  as  “the rakish town butcher, a

ladies' man with an effortless smile that everyone welcomes — except Jake,

the only man who knows the full violence of which Frank is capable.” Chris

Cooper, T.R. Knight, Cherry Jones and Daniel Webber also star.
