wide scale attacks in which hundreds are taking part in all parts of the province (namely Musa Kala, Nad Ali, Sangin, Marjah, Nawzad, Gerimsir, Nawa, Gerishk, Washir and Khan-e-Sheen districts) on the basis of invaders and their puppets, main roads and district centers.The report adds that a huge military base of the invaders (Shurab airbase) is also being brought under missile strikes by Mujahideen. Details of the operation will be updated as information flows in. Reported by Qari Yousuf Ahmadi 5 check posts in Gerishk bazaar comes under armed assault HELMAND, May. 04 – Cowardly enemy troops suffered deadly losses last night when Mujahideen carried out an armed assault amidst operation Al-Farooq on 5 enemy check posts using heavy and light weapons. Separately, several check posts in Hayderabad and Zumbuli areas of the district were also attacked this morning. The numbers of enemy casualties caused in both of the attacks is not yet known. Reported by Qari Yousuf Ahmadi 6 check posts attacked, US tank destroyed in Nad Ali HELMAND, May. 04 – Mujahideen carried out armed attacks on 6 check posts at 09:00 pm last night in Shawal and Nari Manda areas of Nad Ali district, triggering a nearly 2 hour battle in which some 15 puppets were killed and wounded.Meanwhile a roadside bomb targeted and destroyed a US tank as the enemy troops were arriving from Shurab airbase to reinforce their puppets as a result, 3 more invaders were killed and 2 others wounded. The wreckage is still said to be lying at the scene. More details will be updated later Reported by Qari Yousuf Ahmadi Mujahideen attack 20 check posts in Nawzad district HELMAND, May. 04 – With the commencement of Al-Farooq spring campaign, 20 check posts of foreign invaders and their puppets in Nawzad district’s Jaza Karez, Dana Karez, Jalaluddin Karez, Khwala Jamal Karez, Shaghzo Karez and Wali Muhammad Khan Karez areas came under a wide scale Mujahideen attack last night.It is said that the attack in which heavy and light weapons were used lasted till morning time during which some 30 foreign and internal soldiers were killed and wounded besides several vehicles parked inside the bases destroyed by RPG and heavy arms fire.Officials from the area add that 7 Mujahideen were also said to have been unjured in the offensive.
