Aluminum foil is a harmless valuable and beautiful packaging material. Aluminum is a good conductor of heat. Aluminum wires have low resistivity. Aluminum powder is added to solid propellant. A cheap raw material for the production of aluminum was found - bauxite.
At present, aluminum has serious rivals: titanium and magnesium.

In the earth's crust or on the very surface of the earth in different places there are deposits of ore, which is a combination of iron and oxygen. Restoring iron from ore, it is combined with carbon. Cast iron and steel are alloys of iron with carbon. There are the following types of cast iron: white, gray, malleable and high-strength. Steel is made from gray iron. The structure of steel changes during heat treatment.
