1. Advantages of inductive teaching:

2. Disadvantages of inductive teaching :

3. Advantages of deductive teaching:

# Straight to the point , time saving and rules can be quickly explained .Allowing more time to practice ;

# It respects intelligence and majurity of many students ;

# It confirm many students' expectations about classroom learning;

Disadvantages of deductive teaching:

# They may not have sufficient metalanguage or may not be able to understand the concepts involve ;

# Explanation is seldom as memorable as other forms of presentation ;

# Grammar explanation encourages a teacher fronted , trqnsmission style classroom ;
