I. Course description
Aim of the course – the aim of the course of English is to provide students with foreign language competency and communication skills enabling them to more effectively function in their professional and scientific fields considering today’s world of global culture.

This level aims at improving the following skill: foreign language communication competence, linguistic competence, sociolinguistic competence, sociocultural competence, social interaction competence, and pragmatic competence and discourse analysis skills.

Objectives – by the end of the four year undergraduate studies the students of non-linguistic universities who are NOT majoring in foreign languages MUST obtain the English proficiency level of B2.
