INNOVATION AND INVENTION CHANGED THE WORLD

Due to the new cutting-edge technologies in our current century, I would be claiming firmly that every aspect of our current lives has been affected in more positive way. One of the best inventions ever on the planet Earth would appear to be in the “ Internet”. Although there appears to be some drawbacks of this “new-era technology”, the benefits would definitely outweigh them by far.

Considering the drawbacks of global network, the first to be mentioned would be the factor that may lead the youngesters to be more of a people with inadequate interpersonal skills, such us communicational ones. The one having spent all day long in front of the desktops or mobile phones would risk themselves not having the enough amount of time to interact with their peers in the real-world study or work environment, which possibly leads the failures in the future career path. The second disadvantage is the damage that spending a lot of ours in front of screens leads to eye sight of those using them.
Despite the above-mentioned negative sides of the “Internet”, the benefits can totally eclipse them. Firstly, at the current being, there is almost no field of life where the Internet is not playing a huge role, including education. A large number of major universities from every corner of the world is offering their online courses and all services to their students regardless of their locations. For example, the students living in suburban areas can be advantaging these online courses at reasonable rates, leaving no need to commute daily to the campus and saving some amount of money as well. Last but not least, those students can enjoy their own home time doing self-study with the help of the network no matter where they are, what time it is. This can also help them comprehend deeply on what they did in the class, increasing their experience with practicing them.


In conclusion, I am of the opinion that the cons of the “Internet” ( one of the greatest technologies ever among others ) can be overshadowed by its pros.
