INNOVATIVE TECHNOLOGIES IN TEACHING A FOREIGN LANGUAGE

Annotasiya Maqolada o‘quv jarayoni samaradorligini oshirish maqsadida innovatsion ta’lim texnologiyalarini joriy etish zarurati yoritilgan. Innovatsion kompyuter texnologiyalaridan foydalanish nafaqat bilim olish, balki kasbiy kompetensiyalarni shakllantirish vositasi sifatida ham xizmat qilishi ta’kidlab o’tilgan.

Annotation The article highlights the need to introduce innovative educational technologies in order to increase the effectiveness of the educational process. It is also noted that the use of innovative computer technologies serves not only as a means of acquiring knowledge, but also as a means of forming professional competencies.

Аннотация В статье подчеркивается необходимость внедрения инновационных образовательных технологий с целью повышения эффективности образовательного процесса. Отмечено, что использование инновационных компьютерных технологий служит не только средством приобретения знаний, но и средством формирования профессиональных компетенций.

Improving the efficiency of the educational process is an urgent problem of modern society, which is not only due to the sharply increased complexity of the tasks to be solved in management, production, technology, science and other areas of activity, but also to the general trend of world development. In accordance with the concept of modernization of education in Uzbekistan, the main goal of vocational education in higher educational institutions is to prepare a qualified graduate of the appropriate level and profile, competitive, competent, capable of working effectively at the level of world standards.


According to researchers, innovative technologies in education provide great opportunities for the active involvement of students in the educational process. With the use of innovative technologies, the educational process acts not only as a way of gaining knowledge, but also as a means of forming professional competencies [1]. The use of innovative technologies increases the cognitive activity of students, allows students to be involved in communication and increases the level of socialization.
When forming the necessary competencies, it is necessary not only to differentiate the learning tasks to be solved, but also to differentiate the teaching methods, the methods of using computer technologies in education [2]. These aspects of the introduction of computer technologies in education should be far from the last place, stimulating the development of training systems focused on a specific area of ​​use. The penetration of modern information technologies into the field of education makes it possible to qualitatively change the methods and organizational forms of education, making it more convenient and accessible [3].
Innovative learning tools and methods include: web quests, online learning, video conferences, developmental learning, projects, problem-based learning, test system, immersion in a foreign language culture, learning in collaboration, self- research, information-communicative and personality-oriented technologies.
A web quest is a problematic task with elements of a role-play, which uses information resources of the Internet. Kenton Letkeman, a creator of a number of educational web quests, says it's "a super learning tool because it takes a constructivist approach to learning." When completing web quests, students do not receive ready-made answers or solutions, they independently solve the task assigned to them.
Therefore, using a web quest in a classroom helps: to organize an active independent or group search activity; promotes the development of creative thinking and problem-solving skills; makes it possible to carry out an individual approach; trains mental abilities (explanation, comparison, classification). Creating a web quest requires to have a high level of subject, methodological and infocommunication competence from a teacher.
The topics of web quests can be very diverse, problem tasks can differ in the degree of complexity. The results of the web quest, depending on the material being studied, can be presented in the form of an oral presentation, computer presentation, essay, web page, etc. B. Dodge describes the following types of tasks for web quests [4]: ​​retelling; planning and design; compilation; creative task; reaching consensus; journalistic investigation; scientific research.
In the light of modern requirements for university graduates, the most significant types of tasks can be considered creative tasks, consensus building, investigative journalism, scientific research. These types of tasks for web quests allow students to consider the problem under study in the most comprehensive way, to present a personal attitude to the topic, which contributes to the activation of the learning process.Modern goals of education make it necessary to choose methods and forms of work organization that contribute to an active process of cognition and develop the ability to learn: find the necessary information, use various information sources, memorize, think, decide, organize oneself for work. That is why the use of computer technology in education opens up new opportunities.
The effectiveness of the use of innovative technologies is confirmed by the growth of students' cognitive activity in foreign languages, the possibility of individualizing the learning process, increasing the level of socialization of future specialists, and the level of formation of professional competencies. An important feature is also the ability of the teacher to use innovative technologies in the educational process, his ability to select the best teaching aids based on the level of development of students.
However, when using these tools, one should not forget about classical teaching methods, it is necessary to maintain a balance between classical methods and innovative technologies that make the educational process more modern, change the structure of the lesson and the role of the teacher.
