Communication skills

The regular interaction with the people has helped a lot to develop communicating skills. I came to know about present oneself in front of the staffs and employees in such a way so that the supervisors feel satisfied in every aspect about their queries that had been presented. Convincing power to the people increases while dealing with them. I learnt to deal with various pensioners, commercials as well as other levels bank staffs.

  1. Behavioral skills

I learnt about the behavior of various people who visit and work in the bank during my internship weeks. The behavior of employees towards customers and superior was great achievement for me to learn during the internship period. I learnt to behave friendly, cordially, and respectfully with each and every individual involved in organization.\

  1. Technical skills

Before internship I was unable to use any of the technical operators like printers, scanners, photocopy machine and computers. Hence, I learnt the basic necessary skills for operating advanced technologies which are important in any organization during internship period.
    1. Feedback to the organization


Though PBL is one of the leading commercial bank in Nepal, it still needs to go along way ahead to become the best bank in Nepal with the promising future operations. Some recommendations suggested are as follows:

  1. There should be good understanding among the staffs, co-cooperativeness and team work should be encouraged.

  2. Encouragement low absenteeism rate of the staffs.

  3. Training and development programs should be conducted for the growth and encouragement of the staffs.

  4. High security to handle the customer flow.

  5. There should be good communication and equality among the staffs and between top to bottom level staffs.

  6. Introduction of new working techniques that matches the today’s market.

  7. Introduction of new product and services and schemes to attract the more customers.

  8. Rotation of job among staffs of different departments to make them able to perform to perform all the jobs carried out in different departments.

  9. Adopting efficient marketing strategies to encourage more of the customers which will help the bank to compete with other banks.

  10. To increases the number of ATM machines and proper functioning of all the ATM machines both within and outside the valley so as to attract more customers towards the bank.

  11. There should be some facilities to the intern, like providing lunch or per day pay.

  12. Employees should be trained and teached how to behave the customer in nice

and sweet manner

  1. Place customers demand as per their priority following the belief “Customer is God”. It should upgrade its service quality which will result in better customer satisfaction.
