Reporter: The 2022-2023 academic year has begun in higher education institutions. Our colleague Azizakhan Ilyaskhanova interviewed the head of Ministry of Higher and Secondary Education about the problem of shortage of students’ dormitory. Also, the Ministry gave information about the news related to the payment contract funds of the students of Higher Education.

Correspondent: This year, documents were received from more than 1 million applicants who expressed their desire to study. 110,707 of them achieved student status. Today, the streets of Tashkent are full of vehicles. Because it's the first day of the academic year. One of the main problems of students coming from the region to the capital is the lack of student accommodation. We received information from the head of Ministry of Higher and Secondary Education about how many of those in need in student accommodation will be provided with a place and the expected results.
