Actuality of the theme: Through learning literature we know about culture, customs and traditions and history of that country or nation and also if we learn life or any work of a writer. Of course, we will have the notion of the period. My qualification work is about one of the influential, outstanding writers of English literature is John Milton and his great work “Paradise lost’’ . Actuality of the work is to study this writer’s creative career and his great epic poem, “Paradise lost’’.
Investigation of the problem: This writer’s life and literary heritage were investigated by many scientists critics such as S. Johnson, T.S Eliot, W. Blake. The aim and tasks of the qualification paper: The aim of qualification paper is to show John Milton’s contribution in English and world literature and analyses of his epic poem Paradise Lost. To achieve this aim following tasks are set: -To find some similarities and differences between the events in the novel and John Milton’s real life. -To collect material related to the theme. -To make necessary conclusion. Object of the Qualification paper: Object of the qualification paper is “Paradise Lost” by John Milton. Mystical and philosophical ideas of Paradise Lost a famous epic poem by John Milton. Methods of the qualification paper: Literary analysis, comparative analysis, theoretical analysis are the methods of Qualification work. Methodological basis of qualification paper: 1. Measures to further improvement on “For languages learning system” President’s Decree 1875. 2. Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On Education”. 3. National Programme of training Cadre. Scientific novelty and practical value: There are a lot of Scientific articles studying John Milton’s creative career and his major work “Paradise Lost” There are some notes about them. - The varied manifestation of personal liberty; - Abandonment of rhyme, rhythms, peculiar diction; - Lack of rhyme was sometimes taken as Milton’s defining innovation. This qualification work will serve as a guide for the pupil of secondary schools, academic lyceums and professional colleges, and also this qualification paper can be used for the students of university who are studying at foreign languages department .
