Linux command 1

First, let's get practiced with Linux by entering the following command.

- hostname

- whoami

- date

- cal

- cal 2021

- cal sep 2021

* Prints the November 2060 calendar, what day is the 28th?

Linux command 2

1) ls: View File List

(Option)

-a : Print all files (including hidden files)

-l : Print detailed information about each file, such as owner, permission, and update date.

-t : output in the order of the most recently created files

-R : print all subdirectories

Linux Command 3

2) pwd : Current directory location

3) cd : change directory

cd .

cd ..

cd /home

4) mkdir: create directory

mkdir Test

Linux command 4

5) mkdir: create directory

mkdir Test

6) rmdir : delete directory

rmdir Test

(*Important)

Always be careful when deleting a directory

Linux Command 5

7) touch : create empty file

touch aaa

8) cat : show the contents of the file

cat aaa

9) cat > : Saves the input received with the keyboard, and saves it with Ctrl-D.

cat > aaa.py

Linux Command 6

10) cp : copy a file

cp aaa bbb

11) rm : delete files

rm aaa

12) mv: move and rename files

mv aaa ccc : rename aaa to ccc

Linux command 7

13) man : output help

- man ls

- man man

- man date

- man cal

14) clear : Clear the screen

Exercise 1

Create a directory called Linux, and create files called test1.py and test2.py in that directory.

The contents are as follows.

Contents of test1 : I am a student in TATU.

Contents of test2 : Uzbekistan is the best country.

Make another one(file) with the same content.
