Conclusion


Corporate competitiveness and company governance empirical research typically concentrate on particular aspects of these two sets of corporate settings. Their relationships have been the subject of conflicting and ambiguous research findings. My findings give compelling evidence that, first, the majority of multinational corporations adhere to sound corporate governance standards; second, the greater the firm's adherence to such practices, the greater the firm's competitiveness; third, the relationship between corporate governance and corporate competitiveness is significantly stronger when corporate governance is evaluated on a holistic basis rather than on an individual dimension or attribute; and finally, connecting
