5. Conclusion 
The presence of the dependence of the communication channel availability factor on the track 
coordinate for linear radio networks (for example, train radio communication networks), or a 
communication channel readiness map for zone radio networks (for example, station radio 
communication networks) will help to identify the weakest points in technological railway radio 
communication networks and, thanks to this, plan reasonable measures to improve the reliability of 
radio communication networks. 
In the future, to simplify the solution of the problem under consideration, it seems appropriate to 
automate the calculations of the reliability characteristics of radio channels, performed using the 
approach described in this article to assessing the reliability of a train radio communication channel.
