Nowadays,  priority  of  the  people’s  right  so  important  even  the  prestige  of  countries 

depends how they carry out in practice civil rights. Right to life, liberty and the pursuit 

of  happiness  are  considered  the  most  important  to  build  prosperous  and  democratic 

society

 

 

People  are  born  and  their  birth  already  means  that  they  have  the right  to  life. 

For 

example, most of the Chinese don’t want to have a girl. With ultrasonic scanning that 

allows identifying the sex of the baby, the decision to give a birth mostly given to the 

favor of boys, otherwise abortion is used. The Chinese government decided to forbid 

ultrasonic scanning to secure the right to live for girls because everyone has equal right 

to life. To

 create own lifeway, spend meaningful life and surely leave mark in history 

can  be  considered  as  essential  purposes  provided  by  the  right  to  life.  It  also  gives 

people other important needs like liberty and happiness.

 

 

There  is  no  meaning  in  people’s  life  when  they  don’t  own  liberty.  It  is  known  that, 

nightingales  will  not  sing  in  a  cage.  People  without  right  to  liberty  are  similar  to  the 

nightingales,  they  are  nonentity.  For  example,  several  decades  before  Afro-Americans 

did  not  realize  that  they  did  not  have  freedom, they  were  victims  of  slavery 

trade. So, Afro-American  people  were  not independent enough  to  create  their  life  which 

is only possible when one feels that he is free to choose its destiny. Thus, it can be seen 

how important the liberty is for individual as well as society. Without it development of 

society is seen in blur and gloomy colors. Liberty is a major aspect and the absence of it 

can be a barrier to happy life.

 

 

Happiness is a polysemantic word. For some, it is a successful career, wealth or fame and 

for others it is health, family and peace. It is a perfume you cannot pour on others without 

getting  a  few  drops  on  yourself. Happiness  must  be  achieved  on  people’s  own  and 

worked  on  a  while.  Happiness  is  different  for  many. 

Therefore,  the  right  to  pursuit  of 

happiness can  be  understood  as  to  be  happy  or  make  others  happy.  Comedian  Russell 

Peters  makes  performances  around  world  and  dispenses  happiness.  Though,  he  doesn’t 

have to do it, he  does  it with joy. He shows  that the right to pursuit of happiness is  not 

only self-satisfaction, but also is having positive influence to everybody. 

So,

 importance 

of the right to the pursuit of happiness can be seen in emotional satisfaction from the goal 

one pursue and achieve.

 

 

All these arguments lead to the conclusion that, 

there are a lot of written postulates that 

are  very necessary to  follow  in  order  to  live  in  a  harmony. 

Opinions  vary,  but  from  my 

viewpoint

  the  most  paramount  concepts  that  build  solid  basis  for  living  is  the  right  to 

have a life, liberty and pursuit of happiness.
