Competencies are divided into 2 main types: basic and private competencies.

The basic competencies are the ability to engage in personal, social, economic and professional relationships, to take one's place in society, to solve the problems faced, and most importantly, to be competitive in one's field and profession. focused on the formation of nikma-qualifications. Therefore, there are many types of them, and they are chosen based on the goals and tasks set for education in each country.

In the Republic of Uzbekistan, the following basic competencies are formed in accordance with their age characteristics based on the continuity, integrity, priority of the student personality.


Communicative competence refers to the ability to engage in effective communication in social relations, first of all, in the State language and in any foreign language, to follow the culture of communication, social flexibility, and to work effectively in a team in cooperation.
Competence in working with information implies the ability to search for, sort, process, store, and effectively use the necessary information from media sources, acquire the skills to ensure their safety, and acquire media culture.

Self-development competence is continuous physical, spiritual, mental, intellectual and creative development of oneself, striving for perfection, independent study throughout life, cognitive skills and life experience. It implies the acquisition of skills to regularly improve independently, adequately evaluate one's own behavior and make independent decisions.


Socially active civic competence refers to the ability to feel a sense of belonging to events, events and processes taking place in society and to actively participate in them, to know one's civic duties and rights, to comply with them, to have the ability to deal with social and economic relations and have a legal culture. .
National and universal cultural competence implies loyalty to the motherland, love for people and belief in universal and national values, ability to understand works of art and works of art, to dress appropriately, to follow cultural norms and a healthy lifestyle.
Mathematical literacy, being aware of science and technology news and the competence to use them, being able to make personal, family, professional and economic plans based on accurate calculations, being able to read various formulas, models, drawings and diagrams in daily activities, which eases human labor, refers to the ability to use science and technology innovations that increase labor productivity and lead to favorable conditions.
This fully corresponds to the goals and objectives of the "National Program of Personnel Training" mentioned below: "Man, his all-round harmonious development
and well-being, creation of conditions and effective mechanisms for the realization of personal interests, outdated thinking and changing patterns of social behavior is the main goal of the reforms implemented in our republic". Also, in the process of mastering each academic subject in education, the competences related to each subject, field, direction are also formed in students based on the uniqueness and content of this subject.
In particular, students are required to acquire speech and linguistic competences when learning the Uzbek language.
Competencies related to science. In the education of the state language, students are
required to acquire the competences related to the subject, consisting of speech and linguistic competences.
1. Speech competence on the following 4 practices of language education: on listening comprehension (understanding of heard and broadcast speech, the main information in the listened text, radio and television programs on various topics); on speaking (to express one's personal views and opinions in monologic, dialogic oral speech, to develop the skills to make a presentation within the scope of the topic); by reading: reading thematic materials, literary and artistic texts, popular materials (newspapers, stories, personal and e-mails); on writing (to be able to write a dictation, a statement, an essay, to be able to compose creative texts, to know how to keep official work papers).
2. Linguistic competence: increasing the wealth of vocabulary related to social topics that are actively used in everyday life and oriented towards the profession, knowing the means of word formation of the Uzbek language consists in increasing the wealth of vocabulary, and these all this is done through the acquisition of theoretical knowledge on the phonetics, lexicon and grammar of the Uzbek language in a certain consistency.

Fulfilling the requirements of the state educational standards requires, first of all, to know the levels of competences set for each educational stage and the content of education aimed at developing these abilities in learners.


In other words, today, science teachers are required to have a good knowledge of what skills students should have when they complete a certain educational stage, the knowledge on which these skills should be formed in students, and the ability to apply these skills in students. , that is, it is required to find the content of the competence.

For this purpose, by fundamentally changing the educational process, improving the educational and methodological support of education, introducing educational technologies aimed at forming the base and subject-related competencies of students into the teaching process, in accordance with the state educational standards. it will be necessary to achieve the formation of defined levels for each educational stage. One of the first things done in this regard was to revise the Uzbek language curriculum based on the competency approach and improve it based on the principles of continuity and integrity. As a result of 2 years of hard work in


cooperation with pedagogues and philological scientists, methodologists, and advanced practicing teachers, we have today developed a curriculum that is fully integrated for the compulsory education system and meets the levels of competencies specified in the requirements of DTS, and on this basis 4th, 6th, 7th grade textbooks were also revised. New study

from the year, all this will be included in the educational process. A new program, a new textbook also requires a new approach to the educational process.


On listening comprehension competence: a) listening
comprehension of all lectures in the field of specialization through direct and distance education; b) to understand the content and
idea of large-scale public broadcasting and programs, documentaries and feature films in Uzbek language on socio-political topics; c)

to understand the content of debates on various topics discussed in the group, to understand the hidden relations between the participants of the dialogue, to be able to understand the


important aspects of small details; to be able to distinguish
2. idiomatic and colloquial phrases in fast spoken speech, to understand changes in
language, linguistic features in accordance with the social environment.

Speaking competence: - able to


communicate freely at scientific-practical conferences, debates, roundtables, actively participate in discussions; - to be able to join the speech in dialogues, divide the
speech and use fillings according to the situation; - able to exchange opinions and argue on a wide range of
topics; - to be able to make lectures and presentations on special topics; - critical analysis of scientific lectures, articles and scientific works
related to the specialty
to be able to give their own conclusions;
- to be able to justify the opinion with evidence from a scientific point of view and to be able to

develop it purposefully; able to express one's opinion in detail on broad socio-political topics, to make presentations.


By writing competence: - being able to
write articles in scientific, journalistic style; - to be able to
write reviews of scientific and methodical works, articles, lectures related to one's field of expertise; - to be able
to write all types of administrative work papers, internal documents related to the specialty; -grant,
projects, foundation papers and completed works for BMI and dissertations be able to write reports on;
- writing annotations to educational and methodical literature on various social topics related to one's field of specialization and outside the field.
