Accredited training

  • It involves studying for an official qualification, accreditation, or degree that expands the educators’ sets of skills and allows them to progress their careers.

  • Unstructured / Self-directed

  • It involves personal, individual work on the teacher’s part. It includes activities such as:

  • Attending webinars;

  • Listeningtopodcasts;

  • Keeping up with the news about teaching;

  • Reading articles, publications, journals and magazines;

  • Researching and keeping track of the work of teaching experts.

  • Work-based learning

  • It means that the learning process takes place in the teaching environment. Here we present three different methodologies:

Mentoring
A more experienced educator supervises a novice teacher and provides suggestions, guidance, and assistance on all aspects of both the profession and the workplace.
Peer Observation
Observing a colleague provides teachers with the opportunity to reflect on their own practice and be aware of the impact of their performance on students. Educators can share best practices and give feedback to one another.
Shadowing
It means following another teacher for a period of time while they work. This technique helps beginners understand how a school works and what being an educator involves.
Peer group exchanges
Educators from different schools communicate, share good practices, and provide feedback to one another. For instance, the newest teachers benefit from the knowledge of more experienced colleagues, who in turn, learn about new ideas and fresh perspectives.
• Teachers can improve their skills anytime, anywhere. How is this done?
• In accordance with the decision of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PQ-4963 of January 25, 2021, from March 1 of this year, the science Methodists of the district public education departments of the scientific research institute named after A. Avloni's "Continuous professional education" training was launched through the electronic platform. • The special platform is placed on "Tas-ix" with the possibility of access through a mobile phone (Android, iOS) along with a personal computer;
• independent online registration and training;
• each listener's personal cabinet;
• undergo diagnostics on professional competencies before starting training;
• formation of an individual professional development trajectory based on diagnostic results;
• the formation of a personal portfolio based on the results of each listener;
• the possibility of using alternative forms of professional development and collecting certain credits;
• the offer of need-based courses by the platform based on individual trajectory;
• availability of video lessons, presentations, and literature on a separate topic in each course;
• the ability to determine the mastery level after each topic (if the listener has low mastery of a certain topic, the next topic will not be opened);
• an e-certificate of advanced training after supervisors and specialists have completed at least 30 hours (15 credits) and pedagogues have completed 36 hours (18 credits);
during the training period, participation in various webinars for an unlimited time and an unlimited number of listeners (in this case, the listener can view the archive of the webinar if he does not participate in the online webinar);
• the possibility of conducting various online surveys during webinars;
• evaluation of the quality of courses created (on a 5-point system);
• communication and file sharing between students and tutors;
• posting by listeners of their authored courses and sharing with other listeners
What is the credits?
Credit is, in a word, the assessment given to an employee for his work. He, unlike others, is taken into account if he has certificates of completion of foreign courses or his student has taken pride of place in Olympiads. The credits specified in that certificate will be added to the credits you collect on the platform. That is, it is considered that the grade that is collected by studying in the advanced training course has already been collected by working on it.
Uzbek "zoom" One of the effective works implemented by the Institute was the national webinar system created for use in new professional development courses. It is known that during the pandemic, the Zoom platform became one of the most widespread and popular applications. The National Webinar System created by the team combines all the functions of this application, and in some respects it has advantages over it. According to Ayubkhan Radjiyev, Rector of Avloni Scientific Research Institute, this application provides great convenience to users as the number of participants is not limited, the time is not limited, and it is free. Modern technologies for popularizing best practices
In the school, the process of learning advanced work experience is carried out on a large scale.
In this:
the teacher's application of educational innovations to the teaching process; knowledge of "On Education" and "National Personnel Training Program";
to know the educational programs of the state educational standards in his subject;
to what extent he knows the history and development prospects of the field of knowledge related to the discipline he is teaching;
to have an idea about the place and role of the taught subject in the educational process;
knowledge of the scientific, practical, and modern achievements of his discipline;
to use the methods of proof and refutation while conducting appropriate training in the subject;
The level of ability to convey a scientific idea is studied in education.
The preparation and dissemination of teachers' work experiences are planned from the beginning of the academic year. The activity of the teacher in a specific direction is studied.
The work of the teacher is studied during one academic year in order to prepare for popularization. Lessons are observed, and the effectiveness of extracurricular activities is studied. Lectures will be heard at the method association meeting.
Open and model lessons are organized and analyzed. Conclusions, suggestions, and recommendations on the "process of preparation for popularization" will be received from Methodists and other subject teachers.
The process of popularizing advanced work experiences is also carried out with the final conclusion of the process of preparation for popularization. Promotions can be held at the school, district, or regional level. In order to study the work of the teachers in the school, a working group of deputy directors and several experienced teachers will be formed. and offers suggestions.
The work of the working group organized in the school will be observed and studied during the year. The creative report of the advanced teacher is discussed at the production meeting and meetings of the method association, and conclusions and suggestions are presented. Photo booths, videos, and articles in the press describing the work of the teacher will be organized. Guarantees about the teacher being promoted will be obtained from the parents of the teachers working together. The guarantee is taken from 4-5 people.
Lesson plans and methodical recommendations of the teacher are popularized in different ways and in different forms.
If the work of an advanced teacher is popularized in the school and gives good results, the school's pedagogical council recommends popularizing this experience at the district level.
The study and dissemination of best practices are carried out by the methodology office of the regional public education department and its methodologists. In this way, a clear and specific direction for the teacher's achievements in the field of education is thoroughly studied and popularized at the district level.
The District Methodology Cabinet popularizes best practices in the form of a stand, album, poster, or booklet. Nowadays, the method of publicizing the teacher's activity by recording it on a videotape has also been adopted. One of the most important forms of learning and popularizing advanced work practices is to get acquainted with advanced practices and basic schools.
The following documents are prepared to popularize the work experience of advanced teachers:
1. Information about the teacher
2. Biography of the teacher
3. Description (by the school director)
4. Guarantee (by teachers and parents)
5. Order of the school director
6. Decision of the school pedagogic council
7. Lesson plans written by teachers based on new pedagogical technologies
8. Samples of articles and creative works published in the press
9. District (city) Department of Public Education Methodology Room "Method Council"
minutes of the meeting
10. Educational Center of the Regional Public Education Department Scientific Method
