Where to translate official documents
If you need a sworn translator, it’s important to find one who is approved by the authorities of the target country, which means they probably live in or are from that country. Many sworn translators have their own businesses and you can work directly with them, or you can find a translation service that employs sworn translators and vets them for you.
Certified translations are a bit easier to obtain. Many independent professional translators and translation services will provide you with a certificate if you request one, but you should confirm with them before you contract with them that they offer certified translations.
