MY FAMILY.
My name is Rashid Abdullayev. I have a big family: a mother, a father and two sisters. My mother is an engineer at a big plant. She likes her work very much. The plant is not far from our house.
My father is a teacher. He works at the Tashkent Poly­technics Institute. He is a professor and is the author of several books. Sometimes he takes part in international con­ferences and visits foreign countries. He has visited the USA, France, England and many other countries. He speaks Eng­lish, German and French.
My sisters are schoolgirls. They do well and get only good and excellent marks at school. They like foreign lan­guages. Our family likes English, and sometimes we speak English at home.
My Family
My family is not very large. I have a grandmother, a father, a mother, a brother and a sister. We all live together.
My grandmother is 76 years old. She is retired. My fa­ther is a man of 45. He is a tall and handsome man with short black hair and brown eyes. He works at a plant as an engineer. He likes his work and spends most of his time at the plant. My mother is a woman of 40. She is a doctor. She works at a hospital. Mother always has a lot of work to do about the house and at work. She is very beautiful. My brother is a stu­dent. He is a handsome fellow of 20. He does well at the insti­tute. He studies at the Institute of Oriental Languages. My sister is a girl of 16. She studies at school. She is in the 11th form. She is pretty. She has black hair and brown eyes.
Her hobby is English. She is going to enter the Univer­sity of World Languages.
I’m Dildora Karimova. I’m a pupil of the 10th form. I study at the Lyceum of Oriental Languages. I do well at school and get only good and excellent marks. My favorite subject is Arabic.
Our family is very friendly. In the evenings we spend time together.
