In  2020,  the  state  budget  expenditures  will  amount  to  131.1  trillion  soums,  of  which  66  trillion  soums,  or 

50.3%  of  total  expenditures  will  be  directed  to  the  social  sphere.  At  the  same  time,  the  growth  of  these

expenditures will increase by 24% compared to the previous year. 5.2 trillion soums will be allocated for the 

financing of preschool education, 20.9 trillion soums for general education, training. 3.9 trillion soums. 

14.8  trillion  soums  will  be  allocated  for  healthcare,  2.3  trillion  soums  for  culture  and  sports,  and  1  trillion 

soums  for  science.  Expenditures  on  social  benefits,  financial  assistance  to  low-income  families  and 

compensation payments amounted to 6.6 trillion soums, an increase of 27% over the previous year.The low 

tax burden in the Republic of Uzbekistan compared to other developed countries ensures that a large part of 

the population's income remains. Through this policy, we will be able to move quickly to the liberal economy 

that  our  president  is  promoting.  For  comparison,  in  developed  European  countries,  the  tax  burden  is 

consistently at least 30%. In our case, the total tax burden is around 20 percent.
