Sequence

A
sequence is a series of things, which follow each other in a logical order. Learners can sequence pictures in a
story, i.e. put them in order.

To give learners a question to answer or a task or test to do.
Set the scene,
the context
To explain or present the
context of
something learners will read, hear, talk or write about, to make the situation clear
for them, e.g. before playing a recording a teacher might tell learners who the people are
on the recording and where
they are.
