8) Has your hometown changed much since you were a child? 
- Actually yes. It has changed enormously. Around 20 years ago you would 
barely find tall buildings in my area, but now you’d easily be able to catch 
sight of skyscrapers and tower blocks there.

Yes it has evolved from a relatively quiet city to a hub of shopping and 
entertainment. There have been major developments, with shopping mall 
renovations and the addition of shop lined streets leading all around the city. 
There are also more restaurants and bars catering for all tastes.

Well, if I recall the way I had seen my hometown a few years earlier, it had 
less population, fewer buildings, and a traditional way of life. But in the last 
few years, this town went through numerous developments. The frequent 
parks and open spaces have been replaced by the modern buildings and 
commercial establishments, more industries have been established and 
people seems like have a busy lifestyle these days. The professions of 
people have transformed to mostly industrial jobs while many of our 
ancestors were farmers. The roads have become wider and yet congested. 
The southern part of the town still has the old traditional lifestyle and 
buildings, but the other parts of the town are quite different than it was 10 
years earlier.

Yes, it has changed enormously. Now there are many new facilities (tall 
buildings, shopping mall, theatre) are available. Apart from it, people are 
changing their simple shops into big showrooms

Since I was a child the town has almost doubled in size and population. It 
used to consist of just one main street, but now there are many new housing 
developments and apartments next to the water. With all these new people 
moving in, it has changed the character of the town a little bit, people are not 
as friendly as before.
