I. Course content
The purpose of the course is to introduce fluvial processes that are important for training qualified personnel, to strengthen the acquired theoretical and practical knowledge and to teach them how to apply it in practice.
The task of the course is to teach students about the physical parameters of flow and sediment, to predict the shape of the bed in streams, to calculate the change in flow resistance, to teach students about the continuity of fluid transport, and the methods of calculating stable alluvial channels.
