Module 1. Engaging with learning outcomes. Before this module about engaging with learning outcomes I wasn’t clear about what kind of learning desired and the criteria against which it could be assessed. I used textbooks as to complete curriculum and assess my students using questions given at the unit end exercises. Now I know what is learning outcome and its importance. It should be observable and measurable by knowledge, skills, abilities and values. I plan to use learning outcomes for my each lesson.It will help me to plan my lessons according to the set outcomes. This is important because it guides the teacher in lesson planning and type of assessment to be conducted. Learning outcomes also signal to the student what they are working towards achieving. And it helps students to use their knowledge, skill and ability in real-time situations. I like the session module 1(Engaging with learning outcomes).I gained new knowledge how to create an affective learning outcomes for my lessons. This module had much useful information which helps me to improve my professional development.
