Most announcement reports tend to be sensational, shocking and unpleasant. However, some people think that media should limit the broadcasting of bad news since people are scared to do some activities though it has small risk. I completely disagree with this statement, and this essay will argue why it is unnecessary to broadcast bad reports.
To begin with, radio, TV, and the internet have to restrict to represent bad news of any form because it has undesirable effects on individuals although the fact that people are aware of the news in the world. Researches have shown that even a little unpleasant report can influence negative effects on mood, altitudes towards other people, and helping behavior. For instance, showing the news of crime and suicides on TV or the internet is followed by an increase in crime, suicides, and accidents.
Some people, on the other hand, think that the negative effects of bad broadcasting on society can lead people towards crime, violence , bad mental and physical health disorder and others as such severe outcomes although they are striking. As an example, terrible information about car accidents can cause men or women will not to drive a car. Besides, people can make it as a result of fair. Also, watching criminal videos more on the internet bring about to do such kind of things.
In conclusion, the media have to limit to represent bad information about crime, violence, and suicide. Otherwise, it can cause an increase in fair on society.
