My favourite actor

Tom Cruise is an American actor and producer. He has received three nominations for the Oscar for the best actor and is one of the top 100 movie stars of all time.
Tom was born in 1962 in Syracuse, New York. He is the only son (among four children) so Tom has three sisters. His mother Mary Lee (Pfeiffer) is a special education teacher, and Thomas Cruise Mapother III is an electrical engineer. His parents were both from Louisville, Kentucky, and he has German, Irish, and English ancestry. Young Tom spent his boyhood always on the move, and by the time he was 14 he had attended 15 different schools in the U.S. and Canada. He finally settled in Glen Ridge, New Jersey, with his mother and her new husband. While in high school, he developed an interest in acting and abandoned his plans of becoming a priest, dropped out of school, and at age of 18 headed for New York to start an acting career. He made his film debut with a small part in Endless Love (1981).
Tom Cruise made first shot to fame with his portrayal of Ethan Hunt in the great hit movie Mission Impossible. The movie’s success was credited mostly to its engaging storyline, high-tech gadgetry and Tom Cruise’s talented acting.
Besides acting in action movies, Tom Cruise has also acted in heartwarming movies such as Jerry Mcguire for which he received an Academy Award Nomination for best actor.
I have seen such films where Tom Cruise starred as Born on the Fourth of July, Far and Away, Mission: Impossible, The Last Samurai, War of the Worlds, The Mummy, etc.
Tom Cruise’s personal life is just as extraordinary as his acting career. Most of his friends are celebrities who include David Beckham and Oprah Winfrey. He was married to three known actresses: MiMi Rogers, Nicole Kidman and Katie Holmes.
Tom Cruise is one of the best liked members of the movie community because he is a kind and thoughtful man well known for his compassion and generosity.
