New competitors
New competitors In ecology, the principle of competitive exclusion is the idea that two species competing for the same limited resource cannot coexist at constant population values. If one species has a smaller advantage than another, the dominant species will prevail in the long run. This leads to the extinction of the weaker competitor. This principle is expressed in the sense that "complete competitors cannot live together." How can competition cause species to become extinct? competition often leads to extinction. Less adapted species may receive less of the resources that both species need. As a result, members of this species are less likely to survive and the species may become extinct. Why is competition important to species? As the environment changes and new factors are added to the ecosystem, these pressures influence organisms to change, thereby making them better competitors. Competition plays a very important role in ecology and evolution. The best competitors are the ones that survive and pass on their genes Are species harmed by competition? Competition: : one species benefits, the other harms. Examles
