Continuous attention to creative intellectuals, material and moral support, improvement of working and living conditions will be continued.
Comprehensive measures will be implemented to further improve the material and technical base of cultural and sports institutions, theaters and museums.
Targeted activities aimed at the cultural development of regions and the development of folk crafts are carried out on a systematic basis. The issues of ensuring religious tolerance and interethnic harmony in our country, protecting our citizens from various ideological threats, harmful currents and ideas will continue to be in the center of attention.
Our holy religion is valued as an embodiment of our virtues. In our country, the policy aimed at creating the necessary conditions for various religious denominations will be consistently continued.
As the head of our state noted, we set the principle "For human dignity" as the main criterion of all our reforms. In order to implement the noble idea of "the state is for the people", we developed the development strategy of New Uzbekistan for 2022-2026 based on the opinions and suggestions of our people in direct consultation with our people. The body of society's life is economy, its soul and spirit is spirituality.
The New Development Strategy of Uzbekistan covers seven priority directions, and in essence, the issue of ensuring spiritual development and bringing the industry to a new level is defined as one of these priority directions. It differs from the Action Strategy. In this sense, it is appropriate to talk about the goals and tasks related to the provision of spiritual development defined in this programming document.
Within the framework of the implementation of the 76th goal of the development strategy entitled "Further development of the spheres of culture and art, improvement of the material and technical base of cultural institutions and objects":
• material support of representatives of culture and art, creators, as well as teachers and employees working in this field and improvement of their living conditions;
• development of theater art and strengthening of its material and technical base;
• introduction of events aimed at popularizing national culture at the international level in the regions;
• It is also significant that practical measures have been established to properly celebrate the anniversaries of famous creative intellectuals who made a worthy contribution to the development of the culture and art of the Uzbek people, to widely promote their lives and activities, and to perpetuate their memory.
All this clearly shows the scope of development of important areas of art that serve to improve human artistic and aesthetic taste. After all, can'at is based on nationality and promotes universal ideas such as goodness, nobility, friendship, solidarity, and spiritual maturity.
Therefore, we are all equally responsible for the comprehensive development of our national art, for our talented young people to study and demonstrate their creativity. In particular, one cannot be indifferent to the fact that the processes of globalization create new opportunities for humanity, as well as unexpected problems. Because threats and dangers against the national identity and moral values are becoming more and more intense in these same global processes. At the same time, it is not a secret that thinking only about oneself, looking lightly at work and family, consumerism is being inculcated in the minds of people, especially young people, in various ways.
It should also be noted that at the same time, human values are being destroyed in many regions of the world. Even in most countries with economic development, spirituality is facing a crisis.
It is especially regrettable that in the conditions of the pandemic, the moods of intolerance and aggression are increasing in some countries. All such alarming realities that are happening in the world today once again confirm that the President of Uzbekistan is right, that is, it is necessary to ensure the harmony of economic and spiritual growth.
In conclusion, among the achievements in all other spheres of the life of New Uzbekistan, the high spirituality of the Uzbek people, the rich national cultural, historical and educational heritage, in particular, literature and calligraphy, music and dance, cinema and theater art. , architecture and handicrafts, jewelry and carving, cooking and confectionery skills should be widely and consistently promoted to the world.
As the President noted, an educated person has faith. Each nation creates its own spiritual vaccine. Today's spiritual poverty is a just reality. Currently, we are taking measures to end economic poverty, but we cannot yet boast of our results in ending spiritual poverty. In this sense, we must achieve the harmony of economy and spirituality. It is noteworthy that the development strategy of new Uzbekistan consists of seven directions. This number is considered as a characteristic symbol that brings happiness and good luck, and realizes good intentions.
Implementation of reforms in the spiritual and educational spheres is defined in the fifth direction of the seven directions. It is planned to implement the concept of "New Uzbekistan - an enlightened society" in this direction. Priority is given to the promotion of culture and art, education of young people in the spirit of healthy faith, strengthening of inter-national solidarity and mutual respect.
