Nowadays, we are living in such a multicultural world that speaking English has become essential to be able to communicate with people from different countries, to travel and to expand working opportunities.Now you can find English in every field. Everyone needs to learn English.

I will consider my relation to the foreign language experience in two distinct ways: the learning experience of English and the teaching experience of English.To illustrate the first aspect of learning English as a foreign language, I will talk about my personal experience at the university. When I entered to the university I believed in learning English in a high level.Unfortunately, it was a dream.Because The level of knowledge of some teachers is not what I thought. In addition, some unnecessary subjects will force you to set aside your higher goal of learning English.Then I started to learn English with the people I spent time with. It was my friend which has an IELTS score 7.It was a real motivation to improve my speaking skills.My experience in learning English with her has been funny, difficult and even confusing sometimes. At the beginning my pronunciation was incorrect which led to a few misunderstandings.In the beginning, I was shy, I was not confident, but step by step, my friends and all my groupmates helped me to pronounce English correctly to extend my vocabulary and to improve it. I learned a lot of things and their help was precious and rewarding. But one thing I'm happy about is that even though I didn't improve my English with the help of teachers, I gained a lot of knowledge and skills on how to teach English at the university.As you understand, now I am going to highlight my experience of teaching English as a foreign language in the kindergarten.

Now I work with kids in the kindergarten.. Teaching English as a foreign language, especially as a non- native speaker, is a real challenge for me. Especially if they are kids. As you know it is so hard to work with kids.With no experience, I had to be serious to teach the language under the best conditions. Step by step, while gaining experience and by using methods and techniques which I was taught at the university, I learned how to become more confident.My fear quickly turned into satisfaction, which made the experience very rewarding. became more creative to input new teaching tools and activities to teach English to my pupils. Furthermore, I learned a lot of things. I figured out how to find a good balance as a teacher; between being friendly, funny and firm and respected at the same time. I learned how to be more playful with the young learners, how to push my little learners to learn new words in English.
