PRESENTATION (10 mins) 1. Teacher creates a graphic organizer outline on the board and pastes the photos onto the graphic organizer. 2. Teacher asks pupils to come up with keywords related to each photo and ask them to write the keywords on the board next to the respective photo. PRACTICE (20 mins) 1. Teacher distributes worksheets on fill-in-the-blanks exercise. 2. Teacher asks pupils to fill in the blanks with appropriate words related to the picture shown in the worksheet. 3. Then, teacher asks pupils to sit together in pairs. 4. Teacher gives another worksheet containing a picture with several phrases. 5. Teacher asks pupils to use the phrases to form a complete paragraph in past tense. Teacher demonstrates how to make simple past tense sentences using the graphic organizer made in Stage II. 2. Teacher asks pupils to make a simple graphic organizer about their experience during the last school holidays. 3. Teacher asks pupils to make a short paragraph about their holidays experience in simple past tense and with the guidance of their graphic organizer.
