The world has already been very dangerous home for some people whose countries are the centre of the war. Refugees have been facing hardships and difficulties when they move to other countries. They cannot feel a sense of belonging to one community as a result they are being culturally, socially isolated among civically minded people. The campaigns have been expanded to help refuges fight for their rights and life as an essential figure with great potentials. This article focuses on how refuge leadership campaigns can give opportunity for refugees become civically engaged to the society, realize their abilities and potentials as leaders and make the world be aware of their stories by storytelling.

The article whose title is “Movement for refuge leadership”, Basma Alawee and Tyran Higashi, provides information about the development of refuge leadership campaigns. It is believed that the vast majority of refugees have difficulty in socializing and making their life better because of not being aware of their rights and lack of confidence. Therefore, it is extremely effective to form special campaigns to help refugees. Church World Service has already been one of the effective one by traning over 1,500 refugee leaders to organize their communities; tell their stories in impactful ways; develop campaign ideas; to defend the refugee program; and engage in voter education, registration, and mobilization for eligible former refugees who are now US citizens. As a result, the society are aware of their life and hardships therefore they also estimate their life. It is said that the former refugees can be very skillful and well-educated leaders who can lead the refugees for better life. Senator Kayse Jama founder of Unite Oregon arrived in the United States in 1999 as a refugee from Somalia. He told that he was lucky enough to work with people who supported my leadership and allowed me to actualize my potential. Nowadays his campaign annually trains 25-30 refugees representing more than 15 countries and sometimes a dozen different languages. The result of this sort of campaigns can be the events of George Flyod. The public do not get afraid of being offended and underestimated because of lack of confidence, they could make protest against the unfairness. It caused the global uprising around racial justice, many refugee-serving organizations deepened their commitment to racial justice and addressing anti-Black racism in their work.
In conclusion, the aim of the campaigns are reaching their achievement, since currently, muslims, black people, afgans are not afraid of being underestimated and can stand for their justice as much as it needs. This is sign of social awareness and self-awarness.
