Implementation of the research results. Based on the results of research on
improving water-saving irrigation technologies for intensive apple orchards: "Recommendations for the development of irrigation standards in intensive apple orchards" were approved (Reference of the Ministry of Water Management No. 03/37-842 dated March 17, 2023). This recommendation serves to save water resources and establish norms and terms for watering gardens in farms engaged in intensive gardening in the republic; with intensive irrigation of apple orchards, irrigation erosion was prevented, and the provided irrigation rate was introduced on an area of 10.3 hectares in the intensive horticultural economy of the Kibray district of the Tashkent region (Reference of the Ministry of Water Management No. 03/37-842 dated March 17, 2023). As a result, while maintaining soil fertility, using transverse barrier crop rotations by an order of 75-80-70% relative to the moisture capacity of the boundary field, irrigation of the calculated soil layer providing 0.8 m of moisture allowed saving seasonal water consumption by an average of 20.5%, increasing the yield of apples by an average of 4.8 t/ha; the developed elements of irrigation technology have been implemented on an area of 23.4 hectares of intensive apple orchards in the Asakinsky district of the Andijan region (Reference of the Ministry of Water Management No. 03/37-842 dated March 17, 2023). Intensive irrigation of apple orchards by 75-80-70% in relation to the maximum field moisture capacity, drip irrigation with moisture supply of 0.8 m of the calculated soil layer, saving of total water consumption by 16.6% and apple yield by 2.9 t/ha higher; the elements of the developed drip irrigation technique have been introduced in the intensive horticultural economy of the Marhamat district of the Andijan region on an area of 3.5 hectares (handbook of the Ministry of Water Management dated March 17, 2023 No. 03/37-842). As a result, intensive drip irrigation of apple orchards by 75-80-70% relative to the maximum field moisture capacity, providing 0.8 m of the calculated soil layer with moisture, created favorable conditions for the growth and development of apple trees and allowed saving seasonal water consumption by 13.9% and increasing yields to 0.8 t/ha.
