Planetary Weather
We are too selfish. We say the weather is hot or cold. But have you ever imagined other planets that are hot or cold? May be not. Never mind.
You whim when you are hot. But there is much hotter planets in our solar system. Some of them are Mercury and Venus. They are the hottest planets in the day of the solar system.
Mercury is the nearest sphere to the sun. Nevertheless it is not the hottest planet. Because the parts of Mercury that get heat from the sun freeze again as soon as they face out toward space. The F in the parts of Mercury that are face the sun is 800 F and other side's minus 290 F.
We can say the Venus is the hottest planet in the sphere. Because the clouds that are consist of mostly carbon dioxide covered the entire planet. They trap the heat inside. You cannot live in the Venus. There two reasons. The temperature is very high. There are a lot of greenhouse gases also.
The next planet after Earth is Mars. Mars is 80 F in summers. But the F is very low in winter. It is -220 F. Mars keeps only some heat from the sun.
The biggest planets are Jupiter and Saturn. Jupiter consists of mostly hydrogen and helium like the sun. Did you know the great red spot? It is bigger than the Earth.
Saturn is another planet composed of hydrogen and helium. It is also the windiest planet in our solar system. Winds push the gases around 1 100 miles per hour in Saturn.
Finally the coldest planets in our solar system are Uranus and Neptune. They are the farthest spheres in our system. The temperature does not rise above -300 F in the atmospheres in either planet.
