INTRODUCTION (abstract of doctor of philosophy (PhD) thesis)
The aim of research work development of an advanced technology for the
production of chitin and chitosan from the silkworm waste of the silk industry and,
on the basis of it, to create a technology for the production of a biologically active,
environmentally friendly preparation "UZKHITAN".
The object of research work silkworm pupae, chitin, chitosan and
environmentally
friendly, biologically active preparations "UZKHITAN" on its
basis.
Scientific novelty of the research work is consisted in follows:
for
the first time, a perfect integrated technology for extracting chitin and
chitosan from silkworm waste was created;
the dependence of the physicochemical properties
of chitin and chitosan on
the technological parameters was determined and the optimal conditions for the
production technology were found;
for the first time a technology was developed
for the production of an
ecologically safe, biologically active drug "UZKHITAN", which is used for
encapsulation of agricultural
seeds based on chitosan, and the optimal
technological conditions were determined.
Implementation of research results. Based on
the results obtained on the
development of a technology for producing chitin and chitosan from silk waste:
The drug "UZKHITAN" is used in the processing of silkworms of the varieties
"Uzbekistan-5" and "Uzbekistan-6" and their feed (reference from the Association
"Uzbekipaksanoat" № 4-2/1499-dated July 30, 2020).
As a result, it allowed to
increase the vitality and productivity of the silkworm.
The drug "UZKHITAN" is approved by
the State Commission of the
Republic of Uzbekistan on Chemistry and Plant Protection for pre-sowing
treatment of agricultural seeds. (List of chemical and biological protection agents,
