Abstract: this cross-sectional overview points at exploring English instructing college 
students approximately their self-perceived tuning in comprehension techniques they utilize 
to comprehend tuning in writings. It is prescribed that Uzbek EFL learners ought to be 
made mindful of the importance of these procedures to improve their tuning in 
comprehension. English dialect instructors ought to give their understudies with suitable 
aptitudes of how to tune in, hindsight on tuning in handle and concentrate on practicing 
metacognitive and socio-affective procedures amid their tuning in errands.

Introduction. It has moreover been detailed that in spite of these endeavors, English 
dialect educating has not appeared the specified comes about and Uzbek EFL learners fall
