Самостоятельная исследовательская работа студента
Самостоятельная исследовательская работа студента
предполагает выполнение
комплексного лексического анализа слова (по выбору студента) с применением
всех знаний и навыков полученных в ходе изучение дисциплины. Представление и
защита работы включена в третий вопрос экзаменационного
билета и является
обязательной для выполнения всеми студентами.
Указания к выполнению самостоятельного лексикологического анализа
Choose a sentence in a book you are reading.
Underline a word you have selected for your analysis.
Write out its meanings from an explanatory dictionary.
Define the type of relations between the meanings (classificational or
implicational).
Analyze two meanings from the diachronic, stylistic
and synchronic points of
view, one of them being a contextual meaning.
Define the type of semantic structure of the word under analysis (radial, chain-like,
mixed, overlapping).
Define the type of context in which the word is used in the sentence.
Analyze the contextual meaning from the point of view of its structure
(grammatical
and lexical, denotative and connotative meanings) and function
(significative or demonstrative meaning).
Characterize some system relations of the word in question:
a) Find its synonyms and define the type of synonymy (stylistic, ideographic
or others);
b) Give an antonym and define the type of antonymy (morphological, logico-
semantic, semantic characteristics);
c)
Give its paronyms, if any;
d) Give its homonyms and characterize them from the point of view their
form, meaning, paradigm.
Analyze the word-building family of the chosen word.
Give some phraseological units with this word. Analyze their origin, meaning, and
structure.
