Project work #2 on Speaking & Listening

Interaction mode: Group work (You are divided into groups by your teacher) (For online students it is a task for doing individually)

Description:

Create any imaginative organization or association and call it with proper names (the chosen names should be serious), opt for any types of disability (maximum two) and indicate what sorts of opportunities you can offer to chosen types of disabled people. (Your chances can be psychological, financial or medical, occupational and ...) Explain the reasons of your preferences as why exactly have you chosen this type of disability. In addition, point out some data about what achievements you have attained to support disabled people. (Try to add credible ideas but not exaggerated info). Present all above-mentioned data to your poster-presentation and demonstrate them in our separate or joint lessons in upcoming week. When you finish performing you poster-presentation, write down answers to the given questions for Reflection and upload it to Hemis by 27th of December.



Requirements for poster presentation (Here is the link which instructs you making effective poster presentations https://youtu.be/AwMFhyH7_5g and https://guides.nyu.edu/posters):

  • Be concise and brief (do not include too much info)

  • Do not use dark colors a lot

  • Make it original and eye-catchy (do not draw too many decorative pictures)

  • It should include info about the name of your organization, logo (it is optional), types of disability, the sorts of opportunities, the previous achievements.

  • Be organized (Place your info in an accurate way)
