Receiving the name St. Petersburg Forest Institute

I would like to tell about my university. My university was 
founded in 1803 as the Tsarskoye Selo Forest Institute, which in 
1811 was transferred from Tsarskoye Selo to St. Petersburg and 
merged with the private Forestry Institute of Count Orlov, 
receiving the name St. Petersburg Forest Institute. 
Our university has 5 institutes, There are Institute of Landscape 
and Architecture, Institute for Forestry and Nature 
Management, Institute of Forest Business and Innovation, The 
Institute of Process Machinery and Forestry Transport, Institute 
for Chemical Wood Biomass Processing and Technology Safety. 
More than 500 international students from 42 countries study 
at the university. The management, teachers and staff are 
doing everything possible to provide Russian and foreign 
students with a decent education, to make their lives full of 
bright, important and memorable events. Serious attention is 
paid to the development of practical skills and professional 
skills of students in the field of modern technologies and 
industries, the expansion of cooperation with industry and the 
organization of basic departments at industrial enterprises. 
Favorable conditions for study, accommodation and leisure of 
university students contribute to the education and upbringing 
of energetic, purposeful and highly moral young people. For 
decades, the University has been successfully cooperating in 
the international field of education and science with many 
foreign higher education institutions, research organizations 
and industrial companies, actively developing the academic 
mobility of students, teachers and management personnel.
