Reflective writing

I wanted to explain my practical process in this writing task. As I mentioned before our practice consisted of 60 days and through these days I got much useful information which would be necessary in my future profession, such as various methods, strategies, techniques approaches and other helping data too. This process divided into two parts: first part was passive practice which carried out in a week, second was active process and ended in fifty days.


From my observation, I prefer to use mostly communicative method, audio- lingual method and interactive activities. Because with the help of these methods I could learn pupils deeply and accurately. I also was sure that communication was the main key to find the way of other’s heart, especially the person who tried to point his way to the future. Despite of this, communicative approach is the most appropriate to all levels of pupils. Due to these pupils might participate in the lessons more active and could express their options, ideas and feelings. And as a result of this I could simply explain the theme and gave extra information as well.
Moreover, I learnt the ways of how to use other methods together in the lessons. In my point of view, it would be better if we use traditional method and grammar translation method at the same time. Other ways, interactive activities, like brainstorming and fish skeleton were also the best examples for intermediate and pre-intermediate level of pupils.
Additionally, collecting authentic materials is significant process too. Because, if your materials were not authentic it would affect your pupils in negative side.
This practical procedure was a real advantage to me to collect necessary information and material for our teaching. Because when we’ll teach in future we should do our best, find appropriate approach for individuals.
I was sure that each teacher should be ready to any kind of situation and condition. With coming across such sort of situations, a competence of a real teacher would be tested. Feature of teacher should consist of patience and strike. Each part of the lesson is considered essential and before it I as a real teacher should give the attention to planning lesson plan itself. From greeting to end of the lesson should organize accurately and in detail.
In my three lessons I organized different games and warming up activities. Various videos and aids were also played very helping role. It may be said that activities should be used to increase pupils’ knowledge and outlooks. For this reason while collecting any type of materials each teacher should be careful. In my demo lesson I tried to organize the lesson more interesting and lively.
All in all, I can say that practice effected in my life and future job effectively. Each lesson has played an essential role in pupils’ life and their future job too. According to lessons’ effect and result pupils also respect and obey their teacher.
