I love psychological thrillers and havent read one that I havent liked - even if I didnt like how the story progressed or ended. Until now. This book was so dry to me. I could not become emotionally attached or relate to any of the chsrscters. After reading the whole book I still feel like I barely know anything about any of the characters. The descriptions of them and their actions were so vague and plain that they never felt like real people. I didnt get sucked in and lost in their world the way I do with other books. Many questions were left unanswered and not in the good way that makes you think and fill in the blanks with your own made up scenarios. It was like reading a newspaper about a historical crime where the journalist didnt have much info and you think this could be interesting but its so blah that Iok forget about it in five minutes anyway. The characters and plot progression could have been a lot better. There was a lot of unnecessary information too - as if it was filler info.
