A comparative analysis of the bibliography presented in introduction would be very useful. - It is mentioned on page 6 that " A special opening and closing place was left on one side of the tents for the purpose of specially inserting the handcuffs and monitoring the damage levels of the cotton crop." More justification should be furnished on this issue. - Table 3 ‘Biological efficacy of insecticides against cotton bugs in cotton plants' should be analysed in the main text in more detail. - The authors claim: "The most effective drugs against heteroptera are: Safegor, 40% emulsion concentrate (98.3%), Ribo Super, 25% suspension concentrate (93.4%), Transform, 50% water soluble granules (92.5%) and Mosetam 20 SP (82.8-81.9%)." More details are required. - What could be the future directions of the article in this research area? - Authors have checked punctuation and misprints in the manuscript and made appropriate corrections where necessary. Reviewer 3 In the conclusion section, the authors write: “If fine fiber cotton is damaged by cotton bugs (100-150 specimens per 100 bushels) during the vegetation period, the cotton yield is reduced by 55.5-65.3%.” Can you give us more details and explanations? Section 3.3 "Determining the damage caused by herbivorous bugs to the cotton crop" in the present form is relatively weak and should be strengthened with more details and explanations. It is necessary that the authors clearly discuss how their work provides a contribution beyond alternative studies. Why is this paper important to cotton plants? Please, explain. Download 29.79 Kb.
