A glance at the graph provided reveals data about variations in the amount of gold sales in Dubai trades over a period of twelve months in 2002.
Overall, what stands out from the graph is that although Dubai gold sales experienced obvious alterations, they displayed similar fashion in the start and end of the observed year.
In the first month of 2002, sales stood at 200 million Dirhams and rose markedly during the next two months before hitting an apex point at 350 million Dirhams. However, this upward trend was suddenly broken and sales plummeted dramatically over the coming 4 months to reach a little over 100 million Dirhams in July. August sales saw a significant rise back to January levels as figures nearly doubled, but they dropped again in September to the same level as they were in July. There was a small increase of about 100 million Dirhams in October, after which the figure leveled off and remained relatively static over the last two months of 2002.
