Bibliography President Shavkat Mirziyoyev has signed a number of decrees aimed at the development of science management system in Uzbekistan as well as the perfection of the structure and activities of the Academy of Sciences. According to the Decree, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan is the chair of the State Commission for Science and Technology, which has been tasked with developing and presenting for consideration an integrated government policy in the area of scientific and technical activity as well as identifying the top priorities for innovation programs. Introduction Introduction English is taught as a topic and also used as a medium of instruction for other disciplines. To help students speak effectively and intelligently in English, oral English language instruction is a key component of the Uzbek curriculum. Additionally, it gives the learner the chance to fix any spoken English errors and helps him gain confidence in his capacity to communicate effectively in English. This course paper aims to investigate EFL teachers’ interest and perception in developing oral English in secondary schools, and to analyze the most effective way to improve this skill. We also aim to investigate the reasons behind students’ reluctance to speak English and to demonstrate the role of English language teachers in providing possibilities in enhancing speaking skill of the students learning English in Uzbekistan. This area of study aims at exploring the factors affecting both teachers' and learners' attitudes towards oral English. It also attempts to investigate how much the language learners are aware of natural strategies and how often they experience them in their classrooms in Uzbekistan. Download 0.96 Mb.
